The Associate Dean for BSN and Graduate Entry Programs works with the executive team, academic support staff, and Felton Student Success Center staff to ensure the quality and the vitality of the programs.

As a leader in nursing education, research, and practice innovations, the received national recognition by U.S. News & World Report, ranking five of its graduate programs in the top 20 in the nation (in comparison to all public and private schools) with the pediatric primary care program ranked #4 and the DNP ranked #22 overall. Our Bachelor of Science in Nursing program is also ranked #4 in the nation.
Required Education
- Earned doctorate in nursing or a doctorate in a related field with a graduate degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
Required Qualifciations
- Demonstrated experience in curriculum and/or program development and evaluation, knowledge of professional accreditation standards.
- Record of teaching excellence, innovation and creativity in baccalaureate and/or graduate entry nursing education.
- Record of scholarly achievement.
- Ability in promoting an inclusive and welcoming environment.
- Eligibility for appointment as an Associate Clinical Professor, Clinical Professor or a tenured Associate or Full Professor.
- Current, or eligible and complete, licensure as a Registered Nurse and Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner in the State of Iowa upon appointment
- Minimum of two years of academic administrative experience
